Winter Indoor cricket League U11. Middleton entry?

We have the opportunity to enter a team/s in the local league that runs at the Six Villages Sports centre at Westergate. See details below, from the organiser:

————————————————————-

Hi all,

Please note there is just a week left to get your entries in for the WACA Indoor League – so far, we have the following entries:

Six Villages:

U11 Soft: None

U11 Hard: None

U13: Bognor & Middleton

U15: Bognor & Arundel

Davisons:

U11 Soft: Findon, Chipps, Worthing

U11 Hard: West Chiltington, Chipps, Worthing

U13: West Chiltington, Chipps, Worthing

U15: West Chiltington

A number of those teams are taken from younger players e.g. U14s team playing in U15s league – effectively, you will require 6 players from two age groups to raise a team – hopefully making it easier.

One thing I neglected to mention in the first email, is the matches will be played on a Sunday afternoon.

The rest of the details as per the previous email are below:

The leagues will run at both Six Villages Sports Centre (Chichester) & Davisons Leisure Centre (Worthing) as last year, in an attempt to reduce travel – all leagues culminating in a final at one of the locations, depending on entries.

There will be a cost per game, per player to cover hire costs and balls, this will be no more than £4 per player.

PLEASE NOTE: Age groups will be determined by their age on 1st September 2015, this is to mirror the upcoming summer league.

The programme should begin in November and each team is likely to play every couple of weeks.

If you are interested in entering a team this year, please complete the attached entry form and return back to me, NO LATER than Wednesday 14th October.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Kind regards,

Carl Tupper

In previous years we have entered, as well being great fun, it is an excellent development opportunity. Many of our older colts have benefitted hugely from the matches.

I do hope we can find a way of getting an U11 side organised?

I can advise and assist in getting it started, we have plenty of players who would love the opportunity!
