Middleton Cricket Club April Newsletter

Newsletter – April 2015

The thrilling anticipation of the arrival of the new cricket season has been marred by the sad passing away of Jon Hammond. Jon was a passionate supporter of our cricket club. He captained the 3rd X1 for a couple of seasons and was always the first to volunteer – he will be sadly missed. There will be a commemorative lunch held in Jon’s honour on the 16th of May at the club. Full details can be found at the bar.

Middleton is back in the Premier division of the Sussex Premier Cricket League and looking forward to playing Horsham, Preston Nomads and Eastbourne amongst others. 1st X1 games will be played over 110 overs and will start at 12.30pm.
