Colts update.

Again a beautiful evening for the juniors training last night.

Thanks to all the coaches, Andy Harvey, Will Burrows, Tom Davies, Toby Macer, Rory Collyer and Rob Willway.

Jane Collyer for maintaining the registers, Paul Collyer for co-ordinating press releases..

We are in the Observer this week.

John Spicer and Paul Broggi for all their work with the U9/10/11 teams, assisted by many other parents scoring and providing refreshments

Mark Dawling U12’s and Iain Bell U11 Bowl.

It really is exceptional to have so much help to ensure we continue to provide the best opportunities.

Again, Ian and Alison served up some superb food on the BBQ.

From the money raised, we have already purchased a new portable scoreboard.

Finally another senior debut for a junior player.

Ollie Humphries playing for the Academy last weekend. Ollie did superbly, bowling 3 very good overs and fielding brilliantly. The batting was a test…and Ollie has a rather large bruise on the arm. Unfortunately the opposition felt it necessary to bowl short to a junior player..this was dealt with by captain Neil Pacey and an apology received.

Still plenty of cricket ahead, we aim to provide some form of training on Monday evenings into the School holidays, but maybe a little less formal, due to coach commitments and holidays.

The Festivals at U12 start in July followed by U11’s in August.

Fixtures will be posted, mangers are busy working on squads and will be communicating team selections.
Home matches, will require assistance with tea’s and refreshments.

Hope to see many of you over the weekend at the matches or social event on Saturday evening.
