News…matches and 100 club

A fair Saturday for the senior sides.
First team draw in a high scoring match with Glynde CC
Seconds tumble away at Glynde.
Academy, yes another 30 point win, with great performances form the youngsters, Harry Pacey scoring 43 runs. A win by 7 wickets.

Hi Everyone

Firstly a huge thanks to everyone that is supporting the 100 club.

We had 51 people in the draw last night. This means two things;

– the first prize each month will be over £60, which means one win gets your money back, and

– the 100 club will raise currently in its first year some £1500 towards the cost of cricket at the club.

Not bad for an individual investment of £5 per month!!!

I really would like us to kick on and continually look for new members.

The more members the bigger the prizes get.

The next draw will be Saturday 13th July. This is an important date as it is our Race night fundraiser.

Please make sure you have the details in your diary and more importantly contact Colin Johnson to see how

you go about obtaining tickets for the night. As last year as a part of the evening we are looking to sell 64 seats in the Restaurant on the night.

Last nights 100 club winners were;

1st Prize Gary Longhurst £64

2nd Prize Glen Houchen £38

3rd Prize Judith Burrows £19.

The end of year draw pot being carried forward is currently £11.25.

Please do not forget next Sunday we play Findon at Findon in The National Village cup Regional Final. 1 PM Start.

One other date for you diary is Sunday the 7th July when we are hosting the Isle of Man National side, this will include a 20/20 against our first team at 1pm.

Please spread the word about everything in this e-mail to all your friends and family.

Cheers

Ian
