Middleton’s U12’s v Arundel U12’s‏

Middleton’s U12’s played their second Indoor League  game of the season today and recorded a fine victory over Arundel to put  themselves in a strong position half way through the competition.
Middleton 131-5
Arundel 70-5.
Middleton won by 61 runs.
Runs for Jack Dawling 44 n.o., Lewis Faint 25 and  Matthew Bellamy 13.
Another impressive batting performance this time led by Jack and Lewis was  followed by a controlled stint of bowling with Matthew claiming 2 wickets  and Sam Bell, who bowled another tight 3 overs, and Lewis taking 1 a piece.
Ben Taylor and Ben Peach also contributed well in their 2  overs and the result was never really in doubt throughout Arundel’s innings as  they were limited to 70 runs, 61 short of Middleton’s score.
Another excellent performance which puts our boys in with a  great chance of winning the league with just 2 games to go – Littlehampton on  the 3rd February at 4.00pm and Bognor at 2.30pm on the 10th  February.
Once again many thanks to all the parents who supported and  to Iain for scoring.
Best Regards
Mark
