An eventful day, due to the weather, however there were plenty of smiling faces as Middleton first team beat Stirlands by 3 wickets, to secure the West Div 3 league, as champions, and promotion to Division 2.
The weather forced the 2nd team game at Stirlands to be cancelled, however with a big lead already established, the 2nd team were also crowned champions and promoted.
Still a week to go and the final matches v Billingshurst home and away next Saturday.
Well what a season, I am sure you will join me in congratulating all the players, coaches and committee who have contributed to such an amazing season.
