The weather is set fair and we have a busy schedule ahead.
Very pleased to report that both senior sides were victorious yesterday, this takes the first team to the top of their league and the second team remain in second place, well done all.
Also to the groundstaff for ensuring we can play after all the wet weather.
Today a young u10 team play at Arundel in the Santander competition. A great opportunity and experience to play before the Sussex match. Thanks to John Spicer for organising this.
Monday, the U12 festival commences. Thanks to Mark Dawling for organising and parents for your support with teas and transport.
I know you will enjoy the week, it is a great opportunity to play a longer form of cricket, practice your individual and team skills, play hard, but fair and always within the spirit of the game, as we have all season.
I have two u10 hard ball matches to complete, on the 28th I hope to take a team to Midhurst, this will be our final league match, we then need to play East Preston in the softball/hardball league…for less experinced players. Please let me know if you are able to play on the 28th.
We will continue our Monday training, until further notice, to make up for cancelled sessions
